First Domino is expanding to Matrix

Matrix is well known as a dystopian movie franchise but today’s topic is the open-source app based mostly in the EU that is encrypting ur messages end to end.

And one person is trying to expand and connect our community to matrix and his name is Addo and he takes on the task of making our messages more private if it’s for information or organizational purposes. I messaged him to get more information about this project:

“I'm currently making a bridge to make Discord <-> Matrix integration seamless. Discord users would still be able to access channels shared with Matrix users, while partnerships, internal operations, and other sensitive stuff would stay on Matrix”, he’s telling me with profession.

This seems very promising for the first domino as it'll allow the movement to distinguish between casual enjoyers and proper volunteers that sign up.

But to access our matrix connection you’ll need to become a proper member and be let in, you'll be able to sign up from the website and after filling a short questionnaire you'll be reviewed for entry. The discord will remain important but it'll be more of a community space as we hope the people actually committed to making a change will sign up to the matrix.
